In the past year, our team’s dedication to innovation, quality, and relentless improvement has earned us significant recognition. We are proud to announce that three of our systems — two for indoor, DuraFlex, and newly crowned DuraWeave, as well as one for outdoor setups, A-Base, — have received official approval from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). This endorsement is a testament not only to our hard work but also to our commitment to advancing cricket infrastructure in ways that meet the highest standards of the sport.

We are proud to announce, as of 17th December 2024, that our ‘DuraWeave’ Indoor Cricket System has been officially approved by the ECB. DuraWeave features a durable Wilton-woven carpet surface paired with a polypropylene/polyester GeoPad shockpad. Installed over a concrete base, this advanced system provides a realistic game simulation with accurate ball bounce, ensuring top performance for indoor cricket centres and refurbishment projects.

The GeoPad shockpad enhances safety by absorbing impact, reducing the risk of injury – a key factor in our successful installation at Merchant Taylors’ Sports Centre, Northwood, where ECB testing was completed. DuraWeave’s adaptable design allows the surface weave to be customised for specific playing conditions, offering tailored spin or seam response for comprehensive cricket training. Combining safety, performance, and versatility, DuraWeave is the ideal choice for players of all levels in indoor cricket environments.

As of November 12th, 2024, our ‘A-Base’ Non-Turf Pitch System has received official approval from the ECB. This versatile system is designed for outdoor use, providing durable surfacing for practice areas, multi-use games areas (MUGAs), and match pitches. The ‘A-Base’ system begins with the installation of Durant Cricket’s specialised underpadding, laid over two meticulously leveled and screeded layers of porous aggregate for optimal stability and drainage. The system is then completed with the addition of our premium Durant-CW tufted surface, creating a high-performance, long-lasting pitch ready for play.

Our ‘Forest’ DuraFlex indoor cricket surface has been officially approved by the ECB. This advanced vinyl surface meets ECB standards for ball bounce without the need for additional roll-down layers and is highly adaptable for other sports. Tested for durability, safety, and comfort, DuraFlex provides over 45% force reduction for optimal performance. Installed by our team trained at Gerflor HQ in France, DuraFlex installations meet the highest quality standards.

Ideal for multi-sport use, the surface supports custom markings and offers a wide selection of colors for tailored aesthetics, if customers wish to explore outside of our ‘Forest’ Approved System.
